Can I put a guinea pig in with my rabbit?
I would not recommend this as rabbits can cause injury to a guinea pig.
If you do keep them together feed them both on guinea pig food as rabbit food doesn't contain the vitamin C that a guinea pig needs to survive.
I would also get them both at a young age and at the same time.

Are rabbits expensive to keep?
Food and bedding is fairly cheap but hutches and vaccinations can be costly
Here is a rough guide to the cost of keeping a rabbit and some tips to keep the costs down.
An average pet rabbit can cost between £10-£50 (more for large breeds or pedigree rabbits)
A hutch and run can set you back over £100
Neutering costs vary between £30-£65 (depending on area and sex of rabbit, males are cheaper)
If you rabbit becomes ill or has an accident and needs veterinary treatment this
can be costly so it is advisable to have your rabbit insured, this costs roughly £7 per month.
Your rabbit needs to be vaccinated,VHD(yearly)and myxo(every 6 mths)these cost
between £8-£20 each (again depending on area)
On average food and bedding costs around £4 a week per rabbit.
Some tips to keep the costs down are
1) Buy a second hand hutch (local paper/ebay ect..) give it a good clean and a
couple coats of animal friendly wood preservative and it will look as good as new.
2) If you have the room buy food and bedding in bulk,a 4kg bag of food costs
around £5 yet a 20kg bag costs around £10,and a bag of hay can cost upto £4
yet a bale costs between £2-£5.
3) If you can't afford to get a rabbit neutered consider buying one from a rescue
center, most their rabbits are neutered and vaccinated before being rehomed.
